Why You Shouldn’t Try the Cabbage Soup Diet

Hi there my name is Bill Messruther and i also am a dieting advisor. I have been specializing in this field for around 6 years now and I focus my studies on fad diets, whether or not they work and the results they can have on your system. For the next few weeks I will be writing and submitting articles for as many different fad diets as I can find myself. Here is my next installment, talking about the Cabbage Soup Diet plan. goji berry

The Cabbage Soup Diet plans, also known as The Sacred Heart Diet, Armed forces Cabbage Soup Diet, UBITI Miracle Soup Diet and the Russian Peasant Diet plan is simply a heavy usage of low-calorie cabbage soups over a period of 1 week and has the intentions of losing you 10lbs during that time period, from my point of view, this amount of weight loss in this short time frame is practically impossible and unhealthy, and the lost weight will mostly be of drinking water. The ‘pros’ of this diet are said to be fast weight damage, you can eat as much food as you want, that’s listed, and it provides a good kick commence to other diets.

Typically, the soup diet involves eating cabbage soups every day, complemented by some fruit, veg or beef, and drinks are restricted to water other than where explained otherwise. That they say there are 6th key factors which will make this diet successful and they are to follow along with the diet religiously, drink at least 4 glasses of normal water per day, remember that its just for 7 times, use multivitamin tablets to compliment, eat all the soup as you can and don’t go starving, try spices to cheer it up and break the monotony. A typical week of the meal plans diet looks like this;

Day 1 – Meal plans soup, all the berry as you like, not including bananas

Day 2 – Cabbage soup, vegetables including 1 baked potato after some butter

Day 3 – Cabbage soup, berries and veg excluding taters and bananas

Day 4 – Cabbage soup, up to 8 bananas as much skimmed milk as you want

Day 5 – Cabbage soup, up to 20 ounces of beef and up to six tomato vegetables

Day 6th – Cabbage soup, as much beef and vegies (excluding potatoes) as you want

Day 7 – Cabbage soup, brown grain, veg (excluding potatoes) and unsweetened fruit juice

Permit me now give you my verdict and notify you why you should not try the cabbage soup diet. First of all this is purely an immediate weight loss offering and unsuitable for a quality diet. This being because it is low caloric, reduced fat and very high fiber. You can go through several days at the same time taking extremely high sodium and pretty much zero healthy proteins. This is unhealthy. You will feel nauseous, poor and have decreased focus levels. Another common outside effect is extremely bad wind! So you may want to keep those windows open at home and in the office! I do not recommend this diet to anyone.
