Bullet to the Head Movie Review

After i heard about this movie, I used to be very intrigued that Walter Hill was fastened to direct, and Stallone was to star, two people who I thought could pull off a great action movie. Following Stallone had proved this individual still had what it took to make an action movie with Expendables and Expendables 2, My spouse and i thought this movie could offer something fresh to the somewhat stale genre the action movie has become.

The movie has Stallone playing a hitman named Jimmy Bobo, who is given a simple job which turns bitter and his partner is killed. Bobo survives an assassination attempt on him, and starts to trail down the person who killed his partner. This individual ends up stuck with a Korean cop called Taylor Kwon who is investigating the murder which Jimmy fantastic partner experienced committed earlier. The two men track down the dirty trail for their own reasons, but one of them want to stay above the regulation, and the other won’t love the law. newest movies hd ios no jailbreak

This kind of soon can become a pal movie, with both men attempting to bounce off the other person with some amusing comments and jibes towards one another, but for me personally there was little biochemistry and biology between the two and it felt slightly cumbersome. Most of this binding involving the two takes place while to operate a vehicle from one location to another, and it do slightly grow on myself as film production company went on, but We think the mediocre operating limited the success of the claims.

Stallone performed the usual form of personality you would expect from charlie, he is not the best actor in the world by any means, but playing the silent assassin he always seems to excel, mainly because he doesn’t have to behave to much. This individual looks cold and measured and fits the personality well. But lets be honest, you don’t watch a Stallone movie for acting, its all about the action, and in that department Stallone still has it, and share it to us in pail loads. I found the action very stylish, and though it was rather violent and graphic at times, as the special effects seem to be to be leaning towards in recent years, it was entertaining and great to watch, Stallone drags it off with simplicity and generally seems to still enjoy throwing punches and heating guns. The highlight of the movie should be the axe battle at the conclusion of the movie with Jer Momoa.

Sung Kang takes on Taylor Kwon, who you might know from his period in the Fast and Furious franchise. He is a decent actor, I really like his laidback style, and think he can keep his own, but for some reason I just didn’t think he comes off to well as a cop. He does not seem to be to have the winning attitude for a cop, but it does not spoil the movie. This individual leaves almost all of the action for Stallone and instead takes the bullets. Yet in the action this individual does experience he provides. I think I would really prefer to see him with a lttle bit more of the action? nternet site think this individual could hold his own.

Jason Momoa who takes on Keegan will do a decent job as detrimental guy in this movie, although he is working for Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Christian Slater, he is the key man who Stallone wants revenge against, and the key driving force for Jimmy Bobo. He will do a good job as the cold blooded killer, but seems a littler wooden sometimes with some of his appearing. He still looks very Conan in this, this individual offers on the action but is not quite there on the appearing.

Christian Slater is great as ever, he is an enormous actor, and for me he should of really a new little more screen time, he can very likeable as an unlikeable character, he just has something about him that is very weaselish. But it really comes across great on screen.

The storyline of film production company itself was very quite intriguing, being based on a graphic novel I actually had rather high targets, as the transition to cinema is quite often a very positive one, this was not bad but maybe it might have done better. The vengeance plot worked well for me, nevertheless the Taylor Kwon side of things was less appealing, I was always a little baffled with what was occurring with him. He was constantly on the mobile phone, but at the start of the movie they asked for minimal contact, and I thought his storyline was slightly neglected about in favour of Jimmy Bobo’s revenge story. The blend of Being sung and Stallone did expand on me as the movie went on, and the good guy, bad guy combo came over OK. It gave all of us glimpses’ of humor and a nice dose of action which led to a decent action movie, at any given time when action movies are experiencing somewhat of a resurgence with the release of Expendables, Arnie’s The Last Stand and this outing.

Overall this was a lttle bit of any hit and miss personally. The action was great, with the stand out moment being the axe battle. The acting is what you should expect from a Stallone action movie, with some highlights from Christian Slater. This is certainly recommended to any action movie fan, as it will be a refreshing change to see a new offering from an action legend, however if your not a Stallone fan, or hoping on action movies in general, then this movie may be disappointing.
